Zanzibar Island offers a wide range of different types of accommodation
from the very "resorty" type catering for people on package,
all-inclusive holidays, to the small "boutique" style
hotels.
Stone Town has several hotels, varying in size and facilities.
Most are located within close proximity to the main attractions
of the town.
Most beach resorts offer bungalow-type accommodation, furnished
with traditional Zanzibar furniture and the décor reflects
the culture and history of the island. Most resorts offer watersport
activities.
There is no official grading of hotels, but we have detailed the
hotels, which have been popular with our clients. We have set out
the hotels according to their location on the island. Reservations
for the peak seasons (July to September and November to January)
should be made well in advance. |
